Welcome to Anchor & Bloom. 🌿

If you're raising a child with a disability, chances are you've felt overwhelmed at some point. Between appointments, school meetings, therapies, paperwork, and everyday life, it's easy to feel like you're navigating everything alone.

That's why I started Anchor & Bloom.

As a special needs mom, I know what it's like to search for answers, advocate for your child, and wish there was one place to find trusted resources and genuine support.

Here, you'll find practical tools, community resources, encouragement, and real conversations—because every family deserves to feel informed, connected, and supported.

You're not alone here. Welcome to the community. 💚

Anchor & Bloom was created from lived experience.

After years of navigating hospitals, therapies, school meetings, paperwork, and the day-to-day realities of raising a child with disabilities, I realized too many families are trying to figure it all out alone.

Anchor & Bloom exists to change that.

We're building a community where families can find trusted resources, practical guidance, meaningful connections, and encouragement—because no one should have to navigate this journey by themselves.

Together, we'll help families feel more informed, more connected, and more hopeful—one step at a time. 💚🌿

What's one thing...

🤝 Professional Partner Thursday

Today reminded me that caregiving is rarely just one thing.

Sometimes you're coordinating appointments.

Sometimes you're running errands.

Sometimes you're sitting quietly beside someone in the hospital.

And sometimes you're doing all of it in the same day.

That's why strong partnerships matter.

Whether it's a doctor, therapist, nurse, social worker, teacher, or community organization, the right people can make a difficult day feel a little less heavy.

💚 Is there a professional who has made a real difference for your family? Give them a shout-out in the comments.

Some of the biggest conversations caregivers have... never happen out loud.

We think about the future.

We think about emergencies.

We think about who would know our loved one the way we do.

Those thoughts don't come from fear.

They come from love.

Preparing today is one of the greatest gifts you can give your family tomorrow.

💚 What is one thing you've done to help your family feel more prepared?

📚 Resource Monday

Emergency preparedness isn't just about supplies.

It's also about information.

One of the simplest things you can do today is create a list of the people who help care for your loved one.

Include phone numbers for doctors, therapists, pharmacies, schools, caregivers, family members, and anyone else who may need to be contacted quickly.

It's a small step that can make a stressful situation much more manageable.

💬 Do you already have an emergency contact list, or is this something you've been meaning to create?
