The weeks and months after welcoming a new baby can bring so many changes, and having someone to lean on can make a big difference.

BirthMatters offers postpartum doula support to help local moms navigate life with a newborn, providing reassurance, encouragement, and guidance during this important transition. 💙

Postpartum support can help families:

🍼 Adjust to new routines and the everyday changes that come with caring for a newborn.

💗 Feel supported while navigating the physical and emotional changes after birth.

Hello Family is excited to join Sherman College of Chiropractic for their upcoming Trunk or Treat, and we'd love to see your family there! 💙

🎃🎨 Looking for a fun, safe, and creative Halloween activity for your little ones?

Try painting pumpkins together! It's a fun alternative to carving and a great way to get the whole family involved in some fall fun. 🍂💙

But did you know pumpkin painting can also help support your child's development?

🖌️ Fine Motor Skills: Holding paintbrushes and making different strokes helps children practice controlling their hand movements.

🎨 Creativity: Choosing colors and creating designs gives children opportunities to express themselves and use their imagination.

👀 Hand-Eye Coordination: Painting different shapes and patterns helps children practice coordinating what they see with how they move their hands.

💬 Early Learning: Talking about colors, shapes, and designs while painting helps build vocabulary and communication skills.

For younger children, choose washable, non-toxic paints, supervise closely, and adapt the activity to their age and abilities.

Hello Family is partnering with Sparkler to give Spartanburg County families with children prenatal through age 5 access to a FREE app filled with tools to support your little one’s development.

With Sparkler, families can:
👀 Know — Check in on your child’s development
✨ Play — Discover fun activities to do together
🌱 Grow — Follow and celebrate your child’s progress
💬 Connect — Find helpful parenting tips and support

Sparkler is also another way for Spartanburg County families to complete the Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) for FREE! The ASQ can help you learn more about your child’s development, celebrate their strengths and milestones, and identify areas where a little extra support may be helpful.
