People often say that time heals all wounds, but grief never truly leaves. It becomes a part of who you are—a reflection of a love that never ends. We still miss you every single day.

But today, instead of letting grief have the final word, we choose to celebrate your legacy.

Because of you, Sophie’s Foundation was born. What began from unimaginable heartbreak has become a source of hope, kindness, and compassion for so many. Every raffle ticket purchased, every event held, every donation made, and every child or family touched through the Foundation is a reminder that your life continues to make a difference.

Your story didn’t end 17 years ago. It lives on in every smile created, every act of generosity inspired, and every person who chooses to spread love in your name.

We were pleased to meet three of the five 2025 scholarship recipients today, who were presented the second half of their awards.
