Calling all AYSO1672 families!!! You are invited to walk with us during the Town and Country Day Parade Saturday May 16th!
AYSO1672 will be 20th in the line up!
🚨 Parade Day Reminder – Please Read & Share! 🚨
🎉 Parade Date: Saturday, May 16
⏰ Line-Up Time: 10:00–10:45 AM
✅ All participants MUST be in position by 10:45 AM.
🚗 Parade Vehicle Entrance:
All parade vehicles must enter through the Bus entrance off Martindale St.
Honor Guard, Fire Trucks, Kent County Sheriff, Police, and Grand Marshal will line up in the Holy Family Church parking lot.
🅿️ Parking Available At:
• ECC Early Childhood Center
• Corner of S. Union/Spartan
• Sparta Middle School
• Appleview Elementary
🚫 NO parent drop-off allowed in the parade line-up area.
Please park in designated lots and walk participants to their assigned location. Carpooling is strongly encouraged!
👥 Group Reminders:
• Group leaders are responsible for all members
• Recommended supervision: 1 adult per 6 children
• Everyone should know their group name & line-up number
🍬 Candy & Giveaways:
• ONLY walkers may hand out candy
• DO NOT throw candy or objects from vehicles
• DO NOT stop vehicles to distribute candy
• Participants should remain on or off vehicles for the entire parade
🗑️ Please respect yards/property, stay close to the group ahead of you, and clean up any trash.
🏁 After the Parade:
Do NOT stop in the street to unload. Continue to Loomis or Aspen Streets for pickup/unloading. Parents will not be allowed on parade line-up streets.
📍Volunteers will be available to help direct traffic and line-up.
