Tomorrow is the day that AYSO Region 1672 opens up fall registration 🥳 (Are you excited? We are too!)

Here’s the details for fall 2026:

➡️ Registration opens May 19 and closes July 25
➡️ Practice starts the week of Aug 31 with games starting Sep 12
➡️ Interested in how you can get $5 off your registration fee? Simply register by June 30th to enjoy the savings!

While many things may remain the same from one season to the next, existing age groups is not one of them.

☝️ You heard that right - new age cut-offs are coming to AYSO this fall! Previous age cut-offs were determined based on a calendar year; however, together with US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer, AYSO age cut-offs will now align with school-year calendars (Aug 1-July 31). Come represent AYSO in the parade! 🎉

📅 May 18 – Youth (Community) Night with the Sparta Varsity Soccer Team ⚽🏟️
⭐ FREE entry for kids wearing their soccer jerseys
⭐Opportunity to play a game on the field during halftime
⭐ Youth players will walk out with the varsity team before kickoff
🕠 Varsity game starts at 5:30 PM
⏰ Please arrive around 5:00 PM

Calling all AYSO1672 families!!! You are invited to walk with us during the Town and Country Day Parade Saturday May 16th!

AYSO1672 will be 20th in the line up!

🚨 Parade Day Reminder – Please Read & Share! 🚨
🎉 Parade Date: Saturday, May 16
⏰ Line-Up Time: 10:00–10:45 AM
✅ All participants MUST be in position by 10:45 AM.
🚗 Parade Vehicle Entrance:
All parade vehicles must enter through the Bus entrance off Martindale St.
Honor Guard, Fire Trucks, Kent County Sheriff, Police, and Grand Marshal will line up in the Holy Family Church parking lot.
🅿️ Parking Available At:
• ECC Early Childhood Center
• Corner of S. Union/Spartan
• Sparta Middle School
• Appleview Elementary
🚫 NO parent drop-off allowed in the parade line-up area.
Please park in designated lots and walk participants to their assigned location. Carpooling is strongly encouraged!
👥 Group Reminders:
• Group leaders are responsible for all members
• Recommended supervision: 1 adult per 6 children
• Everyone should know their group name & line-up number
🍬 Candy & Giveaways:
• ONLY walkers may hand out candy
• DO NOT throw candy or objects from vehicles
• DO NOT stop vehicles to distribute candy
• Participants should remain on or off vehicles for the entire parade
🗑️ Please respect yards/property, stay close to the group ahead of you, and clean up any trash.
🏁 After the Parade:
Do NOT stop in the street to unload. Continue to Loomis or Aspen Streets for pickup/unloading. Parents will not be allowed on parade line-up streets.
📍Volunteers will be available to help direct traffic and line-up.
📎 Please review the attached map and share these instructions with all participants to help the parade run smoothly.
