Sparta Youth Baseball Association (SYBA) is a newly formed non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission of providing an encouraging environment where youth can learn, grow, and thrive through the joy of baseball. By fostering character development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, we will enrich the lives of youth in our community, preparing them for success both on and off the field. SYBA is a

competitive, traveling baseball organization. We believe that competitive, traveling baseball will develop skills, teamwork, and leadership qualities needed to be successful in high school and life beyond.

Please take note of these two important updates:

Coaches Feedback Meeting
Our coaches feedback meeting will be held Sunday, September 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Barney Center. This is an opportunity to review the past season, share feedback, and discuss ways we can continue improving the SYBA experience for our players, families, and coaches.

Tryout Update
Tryouts that were originally planned for this fall will be moved to the spring. With many players participating in fall baseball—and limited gym availability this winter due to the Sparta Area School District’s facility upgrades—we will not have adequate space for teams to train individually during the offseason.

Additional information regarding spring tryout dates and times will be shared as soon as those details are finalized.

Finally, be on the look-out for 2027 Season Registration details coming soon...

The 13U boys took their skills to the Duey Williams Tournament in La Crosse over the weekend. They finished Saturday as the #1 seed in their pool, playing great baseball and showcasing all the hard work they've put in throughout the season.

On Sunday, they came up just short in a tough battle, bringing their 2026 season to an end.

This group of young men have proven that hard work, preparation, determination, and teamwork truly pay off. They represented Sparta with pride, competed with heart, and never backed down from a challenge. They have proven their growth as players—and more importantly, as teammates and young men—and it has been incredible to watch.

A huge thank you to our players for their commitment, our coaches for the countless hours they invested, and our families for the unwavering support all season long. We couldn't do it without you.

Keep working, keep believing, and keep getting better. The future is bright for this group.

As the curtain closes on the 11U tournament season, we're incredibly proud of this group of boys and everything they've accomplished.

This weekend at the Viva Los Dells Tournament, the team competed against some of the best 11U programs in the Midwest and proved they belonged. Every game was a battle, and the boys played with heart, grit, and determination from the first pitch to the last. Some of the boys were even selected as MVPs and invited back to an All Star weekend!

While the tournament season has come to an end, there's still one more opportunity to cheer them on. Join us Tuesday 5:30 at the Eagles Club as the boys take on Black River Falls in their final game of the season.

Let's pack the stands one last time and show these young athletes how proud we are of the effort, sportsmanship, and growth they've shown all season. Go Sparta! âšľ

What an incredible season for Sparta 8U! 🏆⚾

The boys capped off an unforgettable year today by winning the Coulee Diamond Classic Tournament Championship in Holmen!

Their championship run was spectacular — scoring 40 runs while allowing 0 over four games.

The boys also finished league play undefeated, surrendering just one run all season.

They wrap up an outstanding season with a 20-2-1 record. We could not be prouder of the hard work, dedication, and teamwork these players showed from the first game to the last.

Congratulations to these amazing young athletes, their coaches, and all of the families who made this special season possible. Way to represent Sparta! ❤️🤍⚾
