Day 2 of 4-H Junior Camp was a blast! 🍀

The highlight of the day was definitely the foam party this evening! 🫧 Campers had so much fun dancing, playing, and making memories with their friends.

☀️ Day 1 of 4-H Junior Camp is off to a fantastic start! We were blessed with perfect weather and a great first day full of fun, learning, new friendships, and unforgettable camp memories. Our campers have already jumped right into the excitement, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!

🎉 4-H Summer Day Camps Are Here! 🎉

****Crafting and sewing is now full****

We're excited to offer four fun, hands-on day camps this summer for youth in grades 4-12!

The first three camps—🍓 Canning, ✂️ Crafting, and 🧵 Sewing—are designed to help 4-H'ers create projects they can enter in the White County Fair while learning new skills and having fun with friends.

🐟 We also have a Fishing Day Camp planned at a local pond in Doyle!

✅ All supplies and lunch are provided.
✅ Cost is $20 per camp.
✅ Space is limited to 12 participants per camp, so don't wait to register!

🧵 Sewing Camp Requirement: Participants must have prior sewing experience OR have attended at least three sewing classes at the Extension Office within the past two years.

Congratulations to all of the exhibitors who participated in the White County 4-H Beef Show this past Saturday! We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed by each of our 4-H members.

A special thank you goes out to our generous sponsors whose support makes events like this possible. Your investment in our youth and agricultural programs helps create valuable opportunities for our members to learn, grow, and succeed.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's show a success. We look forward to seeing what these young people accomplish in the future!

♟️ White County 4-H Chess Club ♟️

We’ve had several homeschool families express interest in starting a chess club, so we're excited to make it happen!

Join us on the second Wednesday of each month starting June 10th, from 10:00–11:00 AM at Pearson Park (514 E. Bockman Way) for a fun, relaxed time of learning, practicing, and playing chess with others.

No registration is required—just show up and join us! If you have a chess set, please bring it along.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!

Don't forget our mandatory camp meeting tonight at 6:00 PM at the Sparta Civic Center.
