The Nicholas Wihlborg Foundation Our Fearless 12 year old son Nick earned his angel wings November 19 2014 after fighting T Cell ALL. We will continue to fight cancer for these children.

The Nicholas Wihlborg Foundation is dedicated to fighting childhood cancer, while supporting kids and their families who are impacted by this disease. We know how important this fight is. Our son, Nicholas, succumbed to leukemia in November of 2014. Nick was twelve years old. We have resolved to help others in need, as we received invaluable assistance during our fight. Thanks to decades of research, more children with T-cell blood cancers are surviving than ever before. But for patients whose cancers relapse, outcomes are much less promising.

A new Children's Oncology Group clinical trial will explore ways to reduce the risk of relapse while also protecting children from lifelong side effects like learning challenges, hormone problems, and other complications that can result from treatment.
