We’re making a shift for this year’s Earth Day plans. 🌎

With the weather not cooperating, we’re moving from a traditional cleanup to something a little different—because protecting Lake Mohawk doesn’t happen in just one day.

👉 Join us at the Earth Day Fair 2026
📍 Sparta Town Hall
🗓 Saturday, April 25
⏰ 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Rain or Shine – indoors)

We’ll be there with:
🌱 Seed bombs
🎨 Rock painting for kids
👕 LMPF t-shirts & gear

Stop by, bring the kids, and talk with us about ways to protect Lake Mohawk and the greater Wallkill River Watershed this year. 💧

👉 Stay involved—because Earth Day is every day:

It takes a community to protect a lake.

Every year, neighbors, families, and volunteers come together to make a real impact—and it shows.

Let’s show up for what we love. 💙

Volunteers are the heart of our organization. Whether it’s helping set up events, planting rain gardens, or participating in Earth Day cleanups, there’s always a way to get involved.

A few simple ways to make an impact:
✔️ Keep yard waste out of the street
✔️ Use fertilizers sparingly

What we do on land doesn’t stay on land.

Leaves, grass clippings, and runoff from fertilizers and pesticides all make their way into Lake Mohawk—impacting water quality, clarity, and long-term health.

The good news? Small changes make a big difference.
