🚧 It’s Official — Work Has Begun! 🚧

We’re excited to share that demolition is officially underway for the Lake Mohawk Gatehouse Restoration Project!

We know our community has been eagerly awaiting this moment, and after delays in getting to this stage, it’s wonderful to finally see work beginning on this important project.

As activity gets underway, we ask everyone to help keep the area safe:

• Traffic will remain open through the area. Please slow down and use extra caution when driving past the construction site and crews.

• Please do not approach or interrupt the workers while they are on site.

• The Gatehouse structures and surrounding work areas are now active construction sites. For everyone’s safety, please do not enter the structures or work areas, including to look inside or check on the progress.

We know there will be lots of excitement and curiosity as the transformation begins, and we appreciate everyone giving the crews the space they need to work safely and efficiently.

This is an exciting milestone for the Gatehouse Restoration Project, and we can’t wait to share the progress with you along the way! 💚

Tomorrow is the big day! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

There’s still time to join the Askin & Ho**er Labor Day 5K Run/Walk and support the Lake Mohawk Preservation Foundation and other local causes!

Run it, walk it, jog it—or do a little of all three. The important part is showing up and crossing that finish line! 🏁

We’re so grateful to Askin & Ho**er for continuing to bring our community together while giving back. 💚
