We own a 2002 Ford Excursion that is called the Black Beast. It sits on 18" lift and 46" tires. This is a daily driver and Mike, the owner/builder, was medically retired after 23 years in the Army. It gets a lot of attention on Fort Bragg, all the events we attend and everywhere else we venture to.
In addition to it being a daily driver, we also participate in events, shows, parades etc. across North Carolina and South Carolina to help raise awareness and money for different charities and organizations such as cancer awareness, autism, Children's Miracle Network, anything to do with Veterans and many others.
You can see the Instagram page @LiftedBlackBeast. We regularly place either 1st, best in class, or best in show at every event we attend. We don’t do it for the trophies... We do it for the charities!
This is owned, built, and daily driven by a medically retired veteran. After spending 23+ years in the Army he was injured in combat and decided to give back with his build. He is 100% totally and permanently disabled so he relies heavily on his sponsors for assistance.

There is Snow Performance Methanol injection directly into the intake with a 5-gal reservoir. The engine performance is monitored by an Edge Products system in a custom housing. The rear view mirror has been removed and replaced with three 7" TFT monitors running a 5 camera system for a full 360 degree view from inside the truck. We have two 15" subs, four 10" subs, 12 other speakers wired into multiple amplifiers and a touch screen Kenwood radio.
