Our very first Sparta Founders Day was one we’ll never forget. Seeing our streets lined with smiling faces, families enjoying the parade, kids waving their flags, and our community showing up in true patriotic spirit made it all worth it.
As we celebrate 150 years since Sparta became a town, it’s amazing to think about the vision and determination of the people who founded this little community all those years ago. What started in 1876 has grown into the town we all know and love today, and we were honored to celebrate that milestone together.
To everyone who attended, volunteered, participated in the parade, hosted a booth or simply came out to celebrate—thank you. You made history with us, and we can’t wait to make Founders Day an annual tradition for generations to come.
