A lot of you follow my personal page Teresa Earley but for those who don't I want to apologize for my absence on hereu family have been going through some very difficult times this Year we have felt with loss in many different ways as of today we still are my brother had a hemorrhagic stroke 3 weeks ago he is now in a hospice house as I sit here and watch not just our struggles but others around us it's very very hard to endure the money donations that get sent in this year will be going to help hospice families in need of help I am not doing a skate fundraising this year but I am going to figure out a way to do an online fundraiser or a fundraiser of some sort for hospice families and homes I think.. this is not a guarantee I will be discussing this with my immediate family and get their opinions but I want to honor my brother in some way and I will figure that way out with help only from my immediate family.... Thank you in advance and please keep us in your thoughts prayers and hope vibes

Skateboarders near and far Skate for awareness is taking a break so that we can figure things out so that my husband and I can figure things out for ourselves and figure out what we are going to do with our life and where we want to be and stuff we are always going to be here on Facebook that's guarantee I promise you that and when we come back and start our fundraisers again we are hoping and praying that you skateboarders want to step up and show the world what you are about that you're not just hoodlums out there skating amok skating up the streets and just being you know in people's way and stuff cuz that's not who you are and that's not what you're about most real people I find are skateboarders not only skateboarders they're the ones that have a past too and people look down on they're the real ones what I'm saying is if you guys have any insight on how we can make things better for our skate competitions and our and our fundraiser event that we hold in September we want your insight we want you to step up and say hey why don't you try this or hey how about this or you know anything anything we also want you to spread our message you know that everybody's life is worth it and that there is somebody always there that you can talk to no matter what we also want you to share you know our page in our skate for awareness support page and all that and and possibly if you can help us bring in donations so that we can continue this event and make it bigger and better and make it go places I want more involvement especially especially from the skateboard community it means a lot to me means a lot to my skateboarding son who is a pre-pro professional skateboarder who has a certificate to teach skateboarding to people the more people we get involved in this the more community involvement the more outreach we get the more people we can reach more people's hearts we can touch the more we can do my thing is is if you save one person's life one person's life by talking to him being there for him we can save millions and can you imagine how many people we can save if there was more than just a few of us a handful of us out there trying to do so skate for awareness is not just about su***de awareness and prevention it's also about mental health and what can cause a person to feel like they don't need to be here anymore it's about people losing people that they love dearly and closely not just too su***de but to to health matters and conditions to financial problems to being homeless to you know anything anything is possible please I asked you all please step up reach out pick somebody up when they fall be there talk to them make sure they know they are never alone never ever ride up on your skateboard do a kickflip grind a curb right up to them talk to them I don't care how you get there I don't really care if you're riding your skateboard what I care about is you stepped up you reached out and you made sure they knew their life matters they're worth it and they don't have to go through anything alone. thank you in advance from your president and founder of skate for awareness Teresa Teresa Earley please please share this post in every skateboard community and every skateboard group on your walls on your newa feed every place that you think you can. together we can make a difference!!!!!
