We offer financial help to residents of Monroe County for their pets: a partial rebate for spay/neuter, hosting low cost microchip clinics, and try to help with unexpected Vet expenses.

Hey Guys, please help me find a home for this 16yr old cat named Angel. Her owner is elderly and went into a nursing home, she has no family to take her... the cat is currently at a boarding facility. :( poor old kitty... please share , someone has to want this mature beauty

UPDATE: He has a broken femur, estimated to be only 12 weeks old. Any information about this guy helps, someone must be missing him. He smells and looks clean, he was wearing a flea collar, please keep sharing!

This friendly little guy was found on the Avon Public Land south of Brodhead. He is currently being taken to the emergency vet in Madison for an injury. Please call (608)325-9600 or email [email protected] if he is yours. He needs his humans right now.

Meet Charlie !
Charlie is a 10 month old male Great Pyrenees.
He is a beautiful healthy boy.
Charlie is house trained ,crate trained, and walks well on a leash.
Charlie while definitely loved by his family was never socialized. Due to his lack of socialiization Charlie is fearful of new people .
Charlie can be with other dogs. He would benefit from a fenced yard.
Charlie will need a family willing to work with him so that he can reach his full potential.

The Monroe County Humane Society promotes, advocates, and provides for the welfare of animals in the county of Monroe in Wisconsin.

Where it all began- Oct. 26, 1972. Mrs. Anna Stevenson of Sparta, requested anyone who would like to be involved in the humane care of stray dogs/animals to please join her for the first ever meeting to establish a Monroe County Humane Society.

What Monroe County Humane Society CVG offers county residents today( as funds are available):

For a DOG =A reimbursement of half the cost you paid, but not to exceed $100, after you have your dog spayed or neutered by a licensed Veterinarian. *Limit: 1 rebate on dog alteration per household per year.
