WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY | OCTOBER 10

📱Put down the screen and Get Out & Play! 🏀🏈🏐⚾️

Sometimes, the best thing we can do for our well-being is take a break from our screens and reconnect with the world around us.

Fresh air, physical activity, laughter, teamwork, and time spent with friends can all support our mental well-being. Whether it’s shooting hoops, tossing a football, riding bikes, or simply getting outside to play, every little bit makes a difference.

At Northern Nevada Sports & Recreation, we believe sports and recreation are about more than the game. They’re about building friendships, boosting confidence, creating connections, and making memories that last a lifetime.

This World Mental Health Day, challenge yourself to:
🧡 Put down your phone.
🧡 Get outside and move your body.
🧡 Spend time with friends and family.
🧡 Find joy in PLAY!

Because sometimes, the best screen time is NO screen time!
