A very big thank you to everyone who came out this year to Food Truck Friday and supported the culinary kids and the High Sierra Chefs Association. We were able to raise $26,500 for education and scholarships for culinary students and culinary programs in Northern Nevada. A very special thank you to Steve Schroder with Reno Street Food for also donating an additional $4,000 to help the culinary kids.

He would particularly enjoy hanging out with the guys and showing off their classic cars especially with Bob, Doyle, Larry, and his brother Bobby. He was the happiest when his Grandchildren would join them, he always said that was the best gift ever to share with his grandchildren the love of classic cars and cooking. As a good Papa he would cook breakfast for his entire crew prior to the day of showing off cars. Joe loved watching Valery’s interaction with the grandkids and doing fun handicrafts things with them.
