ENERGY: I have been posting for a long time that the only answer to “moving politics” is GRASSROOTS EDUCATION. Government, the media, fossil fuels, and renewable energy sources ALL oppose nuclear power because . . . it IS the MOST productive and cost efficient energy source!
I often RECOMMEND these days RESEARCH; people just don’t do this anymore! Then I REALLY dig into them, recommending, logic, common sense and deductive reasoning using 5th grade math!
Something that REALLY launched my research was a book I bought and read by Bernard L. Cohen.
Bernard Cohen Higher education teacher. Bernard Leonard Cohen was born in Pittsburgh and was Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Pittsburgh. Professor Cohen was a staunch opponent of the so-called Linear no-threshold model which postulates there exists no safe threshold for radiation exposure. His view which has support from a minority.

In his book “The Nuclear Energy Option”, An Alternative for the 90s he developed a table that provides Loss of Life Expectancy data. Cohen conducted the measurement of radon levels in over 350,000 American homes.
Gary Duarte, our most serious failure has been that government and industry FAILED to EDUCATE OUR PUBLIC! With an educated public nuclear could be at the top of our list for energy.
At the top of this table are listed, living in poverty, ci******es heart disease, a working coal miner, cancer, grade school dropout. At the BOTTOM of the list; living near a nuclear plant, 0.4 all electricity and nuclear 0.04.

Gary Duarte: The best ENERGY SECURITY is to develop SMRs “small modular nuclear reactors” diverse across America, spread out. These units are certified fail – safe by the Idaho National Laboratory. If the reactor overheats, it shuts down automatically via gravity fed water and cannot restart, one of these units’ powers 350 homes!

The public must be educated on the FACTS, not the government or energy industry! Many people believe that we get a lot of misdirection from our government agencies and a misguided public is a danger to our Democracy. Every day there are public complaints about how our government agencies misguide American citizens. They continue the “snowstorm” without being challenged by the lame media and public objection. The public must bombard the social media platforms to engage the dialogue!
Our U.S. inventory of nuclear waste is WORTH $14 trillion dollars RECYCLED into new energy!
$14 trillion dollars can purchase a lot of education! Most American citizens believe that a “complete restructuring” of our educational system is gravely needed!
It has been stated before that.
“Energy is the driver of all economies worldwide and nothing can ever change that!”
When the “public” are provided the FACTS, they will alter the politics! We must remember that MEDIA receives a 33% truth rating by public opinion, it is important that we encourage people to RESEARCH anything they may question!
The medium today is social media, FACTS such as this are the best way to educate young people. Post this and re-post it, the public must know the TRUTH of what is being kept from them by government and energy companies who cannot compete with nuclear efficiency.
