It may feel a little early to talk about the holidays, but now is the perfect time to start planning how we can make this season brighter for local kids and families. ❤️

We’re getting ready for our 6th Annual Holiday Drive — Making Spirits Brighter, and we’re opening the door early for local businesses, organizations and community partners who want to be part of it!

For the past five years, this community has helped us bring a little extra holiday magic to thousands of children across Northern Nevada. This year, we’re hoping to make an even bigger impact. ✨

Congratulations to the Nevada Kids Foundation, INC. — a 2026 Allegra FootPRINT Fund recipient!

NKF is young. Kallie Todaro co-founded it in 2021 with a straightforward idea: show up for kids across Northern Nevada and meet real needs with real support. Five years later it's a trusted local resource, with particular attention to the underserved and rural communities that tend to get skipped.

Their year runs in three seasons.

Spring Into Action puts kids in youth sports — the registration fee, the cleats, the gear that quietly decides which kids get to play and which ones watch.

Educate to Elevate runs in the fall, supporting students and the teachers in front of them. Their Classroom Wish List lets a teacher ask for what their room actually needs instead of buying it out of pocket.

Making Spirits Brighter carries them through winter.

The education focus isn't arbitrary. NKF points to a hard statistic: not finishing high school is the single largest risk factor for young adult homelessness, raising the likelihood by 346%. A kid who stays in school and stays on a team is a kid on a different trajectory.

They serve children ages 0 through 18. We're proud to put our design, print and signage behind that work this year.
