At just two days old, Maverick and his twin sister Misty were scheduled to be sent on the slaughter truck. With the help of Milked To Death | Saving Souls Solo since 2019, they were brought to safety and cared for by a foster family. When they were ready, they made the long journey to Longleaf, where they found their forever home.
Today, Maverick and Misty spend their days soaking up the sunshine, exploring their pasture, and—apparently—licking the raindrops. 🌧️
