for those of you that don’t know what i’ve been up to this summer…. i have been working hard on growing a little baby boy !!!! 🦋👼🏼🎞️
we are expecting his arrival the beginning of october and me and porter have been so excited to start this next chapter of our lives. we have been diving into all things birth! from taking birth classes together, hiring a doula, practicing what we’ve learned, etc. there has seriously been SO MUCH we have learned in these short months to prepare for the best labor and birth possible for me and our little guy! porter has been the best partner i could ever ask for during this experience and i cannot explain how grateful i am for him. i think he is more passionate about all of this than i am;) birth is such a huge mental game and with that being said, all of my time, energy and thoughts have been spent preparing for our baby’s arrival and i wouldn’t have it any other way!
this week is su***de awareness week and the kindness kampaign would have been hosting year three of kind house this weekend! my thoughts and efforts have been dedicated to our little baby so unfortunately kind house won’t be happening this year
su***de prevention and awareness is very near and dear to my heart as i have lost several people this way. awareness of su***de prevention is something i will always advocate for, this year it just looks a little different 🤍
i want to thank all the people that helped the past two years bring my passion and vision for kind house to life. thank you in helping bring inclusivity, friendship and kindness to our community through your efforts. me and porter aren’t exactly sure what our lives will begin to look like now that we are starting to grow our family. i can tell you that again, su***de prevention awareness is something we will always bring to others’ attention even if it may be in a different way now. i love you all and am so thankful for all the support from the past three years and for the continual support of our little family and new journey:,)
