The PRIDE of Southside Alumni This is the official page for Alumni of the Southside High School Band in Southside, Alabama.

Formed in 1958, the Southside Band is one of the oldest and most accomplished bands in Alabama. Comprised of some of the top students in the school, "The PRIDE" performs for thousands of people each year at football games, competitions, concerts, recitals, performances, parades and many other events. The Southside Band has earned numerous awards with both the marching and concert ensembles. Our ba

nd has also been featured in performances at the Alabama Music Educators Association In-Service Conference as well as the Southeastern United States Concert Band Clinic. The Southside Band is dedicated to providing an educational, positive, and safe environment that promotes the growth and development of musicianship and character.
