Our new toy display is bursting with colorful treasures that are perfect for keeping visiting grandkids entertained this summer. Whether you’re stocking up for beach-house visits, rainy afternoons, or just a little surprise, we’ve got plenty of fun waiting at Once More Bookstore.

RECEIVING: How would you like to get a first glimpse of the books that will fill our shelves? We receive donations on Tuesday’s and Saturdays mornings, and you would help unload cars to get these fresh picks inside. We even have a rolling cart to make it easier!

Behind every well-loved book on our shelves is something even more powerful than a good story—our volunteers.

At OnceMore Bookstore, we are incredibly fortunate to have a team of 80 dedicated volunteers who bring heart, energy, and care into everything we do. They sort donations, stock shelves, help customers find their next favorite read, and create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes our bookstore so special. Quite simply, our success wouldn’t be possible without them.

🌸🌼 Our Blooming Books display is in full… well… bloom. We’ve gathered a bouquet of books with flowers right in their titles and no watering required.

Pick your favorite, step outside, and plant yourself somewhere sunny. Your porch, a garden bench, an Adirondack chair at Fort Johnson - just you, a good book, and that sweet spring breeze. Can you think of a better way to enjoy these lovely April days?

Spring is in the air at OMBS thanks to a couple of our very talented volunteers!

Judy Armstrong creates the bird houses you’ll find for sale, and Harry Singley welded the beautiful sunflower we are using for display. Though this one is not for sale it sure brings a lot of sunshine to the store.

C’mon in, feather your nest with books and build a little birdhouse in your soul!
