🎶 For the music lover or the person who keeps saying they’re going to learn guitar…

Our latest display, Books That Sing, has a little bit of everything: books about the Beach Boys, Bruce Springsteen, Warren Zevon and other music legends, plus books to help you make some music yourself on guitar or piano.

Read about the people who made the music. Learn to play it. Or just enjoy the illusion that you’re going to.
Stop by and browse. You might find a book that hits all the right notes.

New section alert: Puzzles, Games & Fun Books!

For when you’d like to exercise your brain, entertain yourself, learn something completely unnecessary or simply avoid doing whatever it is you’re supposed to be doing.

Come browse. Your inner 10-year-old will be delighted.

We’ve given our Fiction section a bit of a make-over.

It’s now one long, continuous shelf, running from A to Z (or Z to A, depending on where you start your search).
No more wandering around the store wondering where the F books went. They’re all in one place now, so you can spend less time hunting for your favorite authors and more time finding your next favorite book.

Stop by, and check out the new layout. We think you’ll find it a novel improvement.📚

A little author magic at Once More Bookstore! 📚✨

We were lucky enough to have Mary Kay Andrews stop by and sign a couple of books for us today! Mary Kay is the New York Times bestselling author of more than 30 novels, and more than a few of those books have landed on the bestseller lists.

The books she signed came to us in a recent donation, so we were lucky to have a couple Mary Kay Andrews titles on our shelves when she walked through the door.
The signed copies are now for sale at Once More Bookstore!

And this is a good reminder that you never know what might turn up in the store! If you have gently used books waiting for a new home, bring them to Once More Bookstore Tuesday or Saturday mornings. Your old favorites might just become someone else’s signed-book surprise.

A Legacy of Books & Imagination 📚❤️
In recognition of Dolly Parton’s passing, we’re taking a moment to celebrate a remarkable part of her legacy: her extraordinary generosity to children, libraries, and literacy.

In 1995, Dolly founded the Imagination Library, inspired by her father, who never had the opportunity to learn to read. What began in her home county of East Tennessee grew into a global program that has mailed hundreds of millions of free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five.

So today, as we celebrate the joy found in the children’s books on our shelves, we say thank you to Dolly Parton, the Book Lady, for helping put so many books into so many little hands.

Thank you, Dolly. Your imagination lives on.🦋
