***Heartwarming story alert!!! 🥰 🥲

💕A reminder of why we do this... and a heartfelt thank you to all who helped Cookie along her journey to finally find her forever family...

"Hi 4 Little Paws,
Mary & I are the ones that got Cookie😊❤️ So as of this Saturday it’s been two weeks.

My father and I are both woodcarvers and my Dad taught me when I was 7 years old. I am now 61 and we bounce ideas off each other for everything we create…
My father and I are extremely close.
4 months ago I lost my Dad at the age of 92 and he was still carving and painting his work a week before he passed. The past 4 months for me has been extremely hard and rough. I say that to tell you this…
The last two weeks with Cookie has been amazing and she has really helped me focus on her and she has helped me thru a lot as far as my thoughts about my Dad consuming me.
You all call them rescue dogs.
Truth be told, I was the one that Cookie rescued. Mary & I truly love her so much❤️❤️
So thank you for all you all do…

COME MEET ME IN RHODE ISLAND!!! 😍

Hello everyone! I'm a handsome and friendly 3-year-old, 54 lb Rottweiler / German Shepherd mix named Scruffles. My journey began as a stray puppy in Von Ormy, Texas, where locals fed me before a foster took me in and took great care of me. Lucky me, when I moved to Rhode Island, and I took to it like a fish to water! My new foster mom says I'm a total sweetheart, well-behaved, housebroken, and very deserving of a family of my own. I love kids of all ages. I am vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and more than ready to meet you!

I am an extremely friendly boy, always wagging and smiling, amazing with people and amazing with kids. I have a great personality, a happy demeanor, and a medium-energy level, not overactive and not boring or lazy, just the perfect amount of energy for playtime, running, family activities, and social gatherings. I am always ready for any fun adventures. I am sweet and affectionate, but not the kissy type, so I won't be slobbering all over you. MEET CRICKET and JUNEBUG!!! 😍

What could be cuter than an adorable lowrider Lab/Corgi mix?... 2 adorable lowrider Lab/Corgi mixes! We are brother and sister, Cricket and Junebug, and we are looking for forever homes! We are about 7 months old and were all set for euthanasia at a Port Lavaca, Texas "kill shelter" when 4 Little Paws Rescue saved 28 dogs and puppies! We are now staying in a foster home getting ready for adoption, learning about love and dog toys, and although we are shy, we are gentle souls ready to find a family, either together or separate. We are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and have all our veterinary records.

I'm Cricket, and Im the brother. I weigh 24 lbs, and it only took me 1 day to warm up to my foster mom. Now I'm running, playing, and snuggling beside her. Overall, I am friendly and sweet with people, love playing with other dogs, but cats seem scary. I play with dog toys, and I'm a good eater, even enjoying broccoli, LOL. I am housebroken and know how to use a doggy door. I enjoy being carried and cuddled, and you can easily pick me up to smother me with kisses! I am okay on a leash, and I don't mind a ride in the car.

I'm Junebug, and I'm the sister. I weigh 19 lbs, and I'm a shy girl, blossoming in baby steps. I am very sweet and want to be loved, but I am still working up the courage to ask for it. I am great with other dogs and would definitely benefit from having another dog in my new home to help me build confidence. For now, I'm still nervous about letting my foster mom pick me up, but once she does, I will melt in her arms as she gives me gobs of kisses on my forehead. Otherwise, when she sits down, I will lie beside her for some love and pets. I am truly sweet, quiet as a mouse, have yet to bark, already housebroken, and I know how to use a doggy door. I am okay on a leash, and I don't mind a ride in the car.

MEET HANK!!! 😍

Looking for a big 0l' lovable Coonhound? I'm Hank, and I am looking for a forever home. I am 2 years old, weigh nearly 90 lbs, trained to sit and stay (mostly, LOL), and I was surrendered to a kill shelter in Port Lavaca, Texas, along with my little 10 lb Chihuahua housemate/buddy named Artie. We couldn't believe it at first, but thankfully 4 Little Paws Rescue saved us both. These days we are doing great, staying in different foster homes since we were not bonded, and now that Im all caught up with vaccines and vet records, I am ready to be someone's forever dog!

My foster mom says I'm a big, strong, friendly boy who thinks he's small and likes to cuddle. I am great with people and other dogs, but I haven't met a cat yet. I have a sweet disposition and a happy personality, social and outgoing, calm and easygoing, and I rarely bark. Inquire about me today. 🥰

MEET LOKI!!! 😍

Howdy Folks! I am a handsome English Bull Terrier mix named Loki. I am about 1 year old, weigh 42 lbs, and was almost hit by a car in Converse, Texas. When the driver got out to look, I jumped into his passenger seat, and when nobody claimed me, I went to a foster home. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, happy and healthy, and ready to find a forever home!

First and foremost, I am a very happy and friendly boy with lots of playful energy, and everyone I meet is already my best friend! I love playing with other dogs, and Im great with kids, and although I will chase a cat, Im not mean about it, and could learn better cat manners. You should know Im a cuddler and enjoy snuggling beside you while being petted. I also enjoy watching TV, playing tug-of-war, going for walks, and playing with dog toys, especially ropes and chew toys or anything someone could tug on. I have fun running zoomies, and love family outings and activities. Im well-behaved and housebroken and will sit by the door when I need to go out. Im good in a crate while home alone and can easily entertain myself with chew toys. I only bark when I need to alert you, and at night, I sleep at the foot of the little girl's bed who lives here. Im just a happy-go-lucky boy with a great attitude and a fun personality! Inquire about me today. 🥰

MEET JENNY!!! 😍

Hi there! I'm Jenny, a very pretty German Shepherd mix with topaz eyes and a gorgeous coat, mostly black with a white chest and brindle legs. I am about 2 years old, weigh 45 lbs, and I was picked up as a stray by the San Antonio city kill shelter and set for euthanasia when, thankfully, a rescue decided to save my life. I am now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, extremely grateful, and ready for a much better future!

I am a sweet, friendly, and energetic country girl who loves the outdoors, exploring, running, going for walks, and riding in a car or truck for any adventure. When the weather is hot, I'll be cooling off in a pool or just a big tub of water! I'm not fussy. I'm great with people and other dogs, not interested in cats, and not into dog toys, but I love having my pretty coat brushed. My foster mom says I am very attentive to my people, curious, smart, and eager to please, and when I'm free to roam and explore, a calm and peaceful energy comes over me... my happy place for sure. I am affectionate but not kissy. I don't dig or jump, and I'm not afraid of loud noises or thunderstorms. A crate or small enclosed space is not for me. MEET MOLLY!!! 😍

Hi Everyone! I am a pretty tan Whippet/Chihuahua mix, about 6 months old, weighing 25 lbs, and I am looking for a new forever home. I was adopted when I was about 3 months old in San Antonio, but due to a tiny apartment, too much time in a crate, and no room for me to play, I was surrendered to 4 Little Paws Rescue. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and happy, and ready for a new beginning!

I am a happy, friendly girl with a sweet personality and lots of playful energy, great with people, kids, and other dogs. I love playtime, going for walks, road trips, doggy toys, tug-of-war, and doggy treats. I know how to sit like a good girl when you are holding a treat, and I enjoy learning new things, mostly so I can get another treat, LOL. I am affectionate and enjoy neck and belly rubs, and snuggling beside you. I am working on housebreaking and already know how to use a potty pad while I'm in my playpen. I am good in a crate while home alone, and I sleep in one each night, but I would probably love to sleep with my family. I am hoping for a happy future with a loving family, room to play, and some fun activities! Inquire about me today. 🥰
