Mission Accomplished! ✝️

•Our GC Volunteers along with the Birdhouse Foundation team were able to build two homes this week for Guatemalan Families. Way to love your neighbor 🙌

•Huge thanks to Birdhouse Foundation for graciously hosting our team this week.

•Thank you GC Fam for donating resources to make this meaningful work happen.

Big news for the GC Family! The first international mission trip since 2020 is currently under way! ✈️🛖🙏🏻

We have a team on the ground in Guatemala being the hands and feet of Jesus and making change. Robin and Liz are part of a team going to build houses for two families outside of Guatemala City with the Birdhouse Foundation – a ministry started by a local Guatemalan man name Tulio. As a child Tulio loved woodworking and making bird houses, and now as a man he has graduated from making bird houses to building real houses for poor families in his home village. By the end of next week two families with young children will go from living in a small area with a corrugated roof and dirt floors to two room houses with concrete floors, windows and a door – things which seem insignificant to us but are life changing for these families.

Please keep the team, the families being served, and The Birdhouse Foundation in your prayers as they carry out this important work.

Matthew 25:40 – “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

GC spent the weekend being the hands and feet of Jesus! So many good stories are already coming out of SERVE Day and we are excited to share how God is moving in Brunswick County!
