Today is Hunger Action Day, a part of September-Hunger Action Month, a time to raise awareness about food insecurity and the importance of ensuring everyone has access to healthy, nutritious food.

At CAST, the fight against hunger continues year-round. Through our food pantry, mobile pantry, Feed-A-Kid program, and other community initiatives, we work every day to help ensure our neighbors have access to the food and resources they need.

Thank you to our volunteers, donors, farm partners, community partners, and supporters who help make this work possible. Together, we’re nourishing our community and helping ensure that no one has to face hunger alone. 💚

Want to help? Join us this Saturday, October 3, from 9 AM–1 PM for CAST’s Food Drive at Southold IGA and Cutchogue King Kullen. Your donations will help stock our shelves and provide essential food to local families.

🌱 Volunteers in Action! 🌱

CAST’s grounds are looking their best thanks to the hard work and dedication of our community!

Since the beginning of the summer, Fernando and his team have been caring for CAST’s lawn and outdoor spaces each week, keeping everything looking great. This week, Luisa and Doris also brought together a team of volunteers for a major cleanup of our Native Gardens, helping keep this special area thriving. 💚

Thank you to everyone who continues to lend a hand and help care for CAST’s outdoor spaces!
