Through our Empower Shigamani project, we’ve partnered with local people to address urgent needs and empower the community toward self-sustainability. You’ll take part in the ongoing construction of the Dunamis House and the Training Center. In addition to building relationships with the locals and learning about their culture, you’ll also have time to relax and experience the region’s stunning wildlife.

Pastor Chris Merrill’s Testimony

On this trip we saw so many lives impacted including our own, it encouraged my faith in so many ways. It was possible to witness a greater mindset of the Kingdom of God beyond cultural or political landscapes. I really love what Dunamis is doing and seeing the impact over the last 2 years in Shigamani is nothing short of miraculous. Additionally, watching my son to interact with the families and children of Shigamani besides growing in his faith was of a huge importance for understanding the Kingdom potential.

Empower Shigamani Update:

Walls are going up at the Dunamis House & Training Center. The new base inside the village will host teams, saving daily travel time, creating more opportunities for meaningful connection with the community, and allowing us to disciple and serve more effectively. It will also function as a training center and provide lodging for local people during training sessions.

South Africa Construction Trip - We Need You!

Through our Empower Shigamani project, we’ve partnered with local people to address urgent needs and empower the community toward self-sustainability. You’ll take part in the ongoing construction of the Dunamis House and the Training Center.

In addition to serving a great purpose, you will build meaningful relationships with the locals and learn about their culture. You’ll also have time to relax and experience the region’s stunning wildlife. Prior construction experience is helpful but not required.

Even in the midst of trials, God wants growth and promotion for you. Trials provide an opportunity to grow, not die. Obstacles can temporarily detour you but only your attitude can bring you to a complete stop. The devil wants you to think there’s nothing more permanent than your temporary challenge. Obstacles reveal what we truly believe and who we really are. They introduce you to yourself. Your struggle may be lasting, but it is not everlasting.
