What is the Southlake Women’s Club?

One question we’ve heard from some of our newest members is, “What exactly does Southlake Women’s Club do?”

The answer is simple… we serve.

Southlake Women’s Club is a group of women who come together to make a meaningful difference in our community while building genuine friendships along the way. Our mission is to support women, children, and families through volunteer service, charitable giving, grants, and community involvement, while creating opportunities for fellowship, education, and connection!

For more than 40 years, our members have rolled up their sleeves to serve our community. From community outreach projects and scholarships to our Senior Valentine Luncheon and School Supply Sale, there are countless ways we give back throughout the year. Together, we’ve helped donate more than $3.6 million to local charities serving Northeast Tarrant County.

Then, there’s Art In The Square …

It’s so much more than an art festival! It’s our biggest fundraiser, our largest volunteer effort, and the heartbeat of what we do. Thousands of volunteers, artists, sponsors, and community members come together for one incredible weekend, with 100% of the net proceeds benefiting local charities. Every shift worked, every ticket purchased, every sponsorship, and every volunteer hour helps change lives right here in our community.

Such a fun day with the Southlake Women’s Club at the Garden Tour

We loved seeing so many familiar faces and hearing that SLWC had such an amazing turnout and representation throughout the event. The Garden Club even had thank you signage displayed at each home recognizing the support from our members, which was so special to see.

The ladies in purple shirts were the incredible Master Gardeners guiding the tours and sharing their knowledge along the way. It truly was such a beautiful and inspiring event.

Community, connection, and supporting local organizations is such a big part of what makes Southlake so special!

ITINERARY

11:00 AM – Cash Bar Opens
Kick off the afternoon with our special May Signature Drink — the Lavender Lemon Drop Martini! Mingle, connect, and drop your raffle tickets for your chance to win one (or more) of the fabulous prizes up for grabs.

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Club Business
We'll take care of our end-of-season club business together.

12:00 – 1:00 PM – Raffle Drawings & Entertainment
The fun wraps up with our raffle drawings, live auction, and entertainment by Joe Worrel — fingers crossed you are one of the big raffle winners!

FRIENDLY REMINDER — NAMETAGS!
As a reminder, we collect nametags at the end of each meeting — but every now and then, one sneaks out the door! Since this is our last meeting of the season, if you happen to still have your nametag at home, please bring it with you on Friday. We'd love to get everyone's back so we can do a full inventory and have them all set for next year. Thank you!
