What a travesty for the Scouts in Ukraine. I am going to donate a here.

Last night, a Russian missile hit the factory where NOSU produces Scout uniforms.

We lost the fabric that had already been purchased, as well as uniforms that had already been produced and paid for, but not yet collected.

This happened just before the summer camp season, and all the uniforms lost belonged to new Scouts who had recently joined NOSU. For many of them, this summer will bring their first real Scout camp experience.

We cannot ask families to pay for the same uniform twice, but at the same time, NOSU is not in a position to replace everything that was lost on its own.

So today, we are turning to our friends, partners, and the global Scout community for support.

We all know that a Scout uniform is more than a shirt. It is about belonging, dignity, and equality. It is the feeling of standing together as part of a patrol, a troop, and the worldwide Scout family.

Please help us give these new Scouts the start to Scouting they deserve.

With your support, we will produce new uniforms and get them to the Scouts who have been waiting for them before their first summer camps.

- €20 provides a Scout uniform for one Ukrainian Scout
- €40 provides uniforms for two Ukrainian Scouts
- €100 provides uniforms for five Ukrainian Scouts

As a small thank-you:

- If you donate €20+, you will receive a thank-you video from a Ukrainian Scout.

- If you donate €40+, you will receive a thank-you video and a handmade postcard created by one of our Cub Scouts.

- If you donate €100+, you will receive a thank-you video, a handmade postcard, and a special edition NOSU Scout scarf.

All donations will go directly towards producing Scout uniforms for new Scouts.

All donors will receive a clear report on how the money was spent and what their support made possible.

Monday meetings at Troop 928 provide our Scouts with hands-on opportunities to master rank requirements.

From earning Totin' Chips—where they learn the safe handling of pocket knives, axes, and bow saws—to practicing essential woodcraft, our program is built on skill-building.
Older Scouts sharpen their leadership by teaching knots and chuckbox cooking to the newest members.

Additionally, new Scouts are currently diving into orienteering, mastering the compass in anticipation of the Longhorn Score-O event later this year!

Troop 928 Scout family is thrilled to welcome all new Arrow of Light crossover Scouts from Packs 928, 817, and 260! It was an honor to take part in each Pack’s bridging ceremony as these Scouts crossed from Cub Scouts into our Troop. We’re excited to have you join us and can’t wait to share fun, adventure, and unforgettable experiences together!

Troop 928 attended the 2026 Tarleton State University Merit Badge College, one of our favorite and most exciting campouts on the campus grounds! This year, we brought along an impressive group of 31 Scouts and 16 Adults. Over the weekend, Scouts had the opportunity to work on three Merit Badges of their choice, including those required for Eagle Rank. It was an unforgettable experience!

Troop 928 held our yearly Order of the Arrow Election Night where our nominated Scouts are offered the priviledge to join the OA Scouting’s National Honor Society and get the opportunity to get peer-led advanced leadership experiences!

Troop 928 Scouts head for Glen Rose Texas for a weekend camping and lots of cooking before visiting the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center to learn about animal life in their natural habitat!
