I hope it brings freedom to your soul to know that the gospel is the only thing that is too good to be true and is still true! Life with Jesus is an invitation
to come to the river — the river of life, the river of peace, the river of living water.
In John 7:37–38, Jesus said,
“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water” (NKJV).
“Anyone” in this passage is referring to you and me. We long, we thirst, and we need the living water that satisfies and quenches the deep desires of our souls. And Jesus is the “living water.”
