Today marks a special milestone in the journey of Inner-City Arts Academy. On this day, December 8, 2020, our founder, Mr. Derrick C. Lewis, Sr., M.Ed., envisioned and created an academy dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for the development of the arts. This academy was built to inspire creativity, empower young minds, and serve as a beacon of hope and opportunity in our community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our directors, staff, members, parents, stakeholders, and community supporters who have worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. Your commitment and belief in this mission have allowed us to grow and thrive.

As we celebrate another Founders Day, let us look forward to a bright future filled with opportunity, creativity, and unity. Together, we will continue to build on this legacy and shape a new era of excellence.

Happy Founders Day!
