Please join us in celebrating Faith Eidson, LMSW, IECMH-E®, the 2026 recipient of the William M. Schafer, PhD, Award for Excellence in Reflective Supervision Leadership and Inspiration.

For more than two decades, Faith has been a trusted leader, mentor, reflective consultant, and champion of Reflective Supervision/Consultation (RSC). Through her work, she has helped strengthen reflective practice across organizations, systems, and disciplines while supporting countless professionals in developing reflective capacity grounded in curiosity, humility, and relationship-based practice.

Colleagues consistently describe Faith as a steady reflective presence whose mentorship has shaped careers, sustained professionals through challenging work, and inspired the next generation of reflective supervisors and leaders.

Faith's influence extends far beyond the individuals she has directly supported. Her leadership, scholarship, and unwavering commitment to reflective practice continue to create ripple effects that strengthen professionals, organizations, and systems serving infants, young children, and families.

We are honored to recognize Faith's extraordinary contributions and grateful for the wisdom, generosity, and reflective leadership she has shared with our field.

Congratulations, Faith, on this well-deserved recognition! 🌱

As part of our ongoing efforts to create space for reflection, connection, and community engagement across the IECMH field, we’re inviting you to join this month’s Voices from the Field conversation.

This month’s reflective prompt:

What relationships are sustaining your work right now?

As professionals supporting infants, young children, caregivers, families, and communities, relationships often remain at the heart of what grounds, encourages, and sustains us. This may be a colleague, supervisor, mentor, community partner, friend, family member, or even the relationships built through your work.

We invite you to reflect and share in the comments below. Your reflections may help foster connection, encouragement, and shared learning across our community.

Selected reflections may be anonymously featured in an upcoming Alliance newsletter as part of our Voices from the Field series.
