We were established in October of 1963 and are 1600 Union members strong! We believe in being on the cutting edge of technology, to better serve our customers and our union members. Therefore, we are committed to keeping up with advances being made in our industry. This allows us the use of most modern methods and equipment in order to provide the best possible service. Our contractors have assist

ed in the completion of over 100,000 new homes in the last 5 years. Schools, libraries, and other public buildings are constructed with the help of Union Sheet Metal Workers. The Sheet Metal Workers' Local Union #80 offers an award winning 5 year apprentice training program that annually produces some of the top trainees in the country!

Please join Sheet Metal Workers Local 80 on SUNDAY MARCH 15TH 2026 at 11AM ⏰ to march in the Detroit St. Patrick's Day Parade with your union brothers and sisters! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️👷 We will meet across the street from IBEW Local 58 at Mudgie's Playlot which is at the corner of Brooklyn and Porter. 📍 Food will be available at IBEW Local 58s union hall starting at 10am. We will have shirts for you to wear! We will march down Michigan Avenue starting at 12PM. See you there! 🍀🍀🍀🍀
