Starting your career can feel overwhelming, especially when navigating corporate spaces that weren’t always designed with neurodivergent minds in mind.

In our latest blog, Navigating Early Careers: Wisdom for Neurodivergent Professionals, Dr. Yulanda Harris shares practical insights, encouragement, and “pearls of wisdom” for neurodivergent professionals entering the workforce.

From self-advocacy and communication to burnout prevention and sustainable success, this blog is a reminder that you do not have to sacrifice your wellbeing to build a meaningful career.

If you’re beginning your professional journey, we invite you to read, reflect, and carry these lessons with you as you build a career that works with your brain — not against it.

This Autism Acceptance Month, we’re moving beyond awareness and into meaningful action.

We’ve published a new blog exploring autistic meltdowns, what they truly are, how stigma impacts individuals in workplaces and everyday life, and what genuine inclusion requires in practice.

This piece is co-written by Ericka Fletcher and Yulanda Harris, two autistic individuals whose lived experiences bring critical insight and perspective to this conversation.

If we are committed to building truly inclusive spaces, we must take the time to understand experiences we may not personally share.

We’re still reflecting on the incredible energy from our Leaders & Changemakers launch event last month.

A heartfelt thank you to all 83 attendees who showed up in support of our mission and to our five inspiring speakers who shared their powerful stories so openly. Your voices are what make this work meaningful.

Together, we sparked important conversations, built new connections, and took meaningful steps toward a more inclusive future.

We’re just getting started and are so excited for what’s ahead. We hope to continue growing this community with you and look forward to seeing you at our next event.

This Autism Acceptance Month, we’re creating space for stories that deserve to be heard. 💜

Yulanda Harris shares her journey of receiving a later in life autism diagnosis, and how that understanding reshaped both her personal and professional experiences. Her story is a powerful reminder that access to knowledge, resources, and support hasn’t always been equitable.

At NDi, we believe it’s never too late to be seen, understood, and supported. Neurodivergent individuals, at every age, deserve affirmation, community, and the tools to thrive.

Kylie Dickerson shares her neurodivergent journey, first premiered at our Neurodiversity: Leaders and Changemakers event. Her story highlights a simple truth: the barriers are real, but so is our potential. With the right support, neurodivergent individuals can lead, build, and create meaningful impact.

Thank you, Kylie, for contributing your voice and story to this event and helping move this work forward.
