This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage and selflessness are the reason we are able to live, gather, and hope in freedom. Today, and always, we carry deep gratitude for their sacrifice and hold close the families who live with their loss.

At MATIO | Kids Kicking Cancer, we are reminded that courage takes many forms — and we see it every day in the children we serve as they face illness with strength far beyond their years.

Today is about remembrance, gratitude, and honoring those who gave everything.

Thank you to the Detroit Tigers for helping spread awareness of Childhood Cancer during Strike Out Cancer Weekend💛! We were honored to be featured today on the field at Comerica Park-teaching how our kids take control using therapeutic martial arts & breathing. Today is a day to remember for all of us💛!! We especially remember our friend Cailen and are grateful for your beautiful tribute🧡.

Every technique is about helping our young heroes feel more prepared and empowered through any challenge they face. 💜🥋 Our “ninja needle” technique is just one more tool added to their toolbox — helping create confidence, strength, and a sense of control during difficult moments. Using martial arts therapy techniques, our heroes learn they are capable of overcoming anything that comes their way. We are so proud of each and every one of them.
