A principal at a school in Somalia shared this hopeful update after LIFE’s Back-to-School program recently took place there. Sometimes a short sentence captures exactly why access to school supplies and educational support matters.

Through its Back-to-School work, LIFE helps provide students with the supplies they need to participate in class and continue their education.

For years, families in this Kenyan community had to ration every single drop of water for cooking, washing, and livestock.

With clean water now flowing right in the center of their village, children can stay in school and mothers no longer have to spend entire mornings searching for unsafe water sources.
