YMCA Camp Oakasha YMCA Camp Oakasha offers traditional camping experiences for children and youth entering grades Kindergarten through 10th.

YMCA Camp Oakasha provides quality traditional day camping experiences that aim to teach the positive values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility for youth in the Southbury, CT area. Everyday campers have the opportunity to chose from arts and crafts, swimming, boating, low ropes course, climbing tower, archery, and environmental science activities. We have one week sessions and offer a field trip every other session.

Good afternoon!

We wanted to share some of the amazing fun we had during Color Games last week! Your children had an incredible time participating in all of the activities and showed so much enthusiasm, teamwork, and excitement throughout the week. It was wonderful to see their smiles and energy as they took on each challenge.

We had an absolute blast creating memories together, and we’re excited to share some highlights with you. Take a look at the fun activities we enjoyed!

🥚🚀 Check out some of our Egg Drop Challenge videos! 🎥✨
Our campers had a blast watching their creative designs take the big drop from the tower. After all their hard work, teamwork, and problem-solving, it was exciting to see which eggs survived the challenge! Great job, campers, on putting your STEM skills to the test! 🧪🔬👏
