Bridge to Hope Peer Recovery Support Center

Bridge to Hope Peer Recovery Support Center Community. Connection. Support. Addiction Recovery Happens Here. Peer Recovery Support Centers
Community.

The Massachusetts Peer Recovery Support Centers (PRSC) are free accessible peer-led spaces that provide individuals in recovery from substance use, as well as families and loved ones affected by addiction, the opportunity to both offer and receive support in their community environment. The PRSCs are warm, welcoming spaces grounded in the values and principles of Recovery and reflective of Multipl

e Pathways. They are permeated with a sense of hope, belonging and empowerment, with programming based on national standards and best practices in providing peer recovery support services and reflective of peer choice. A guiding principle of the centers is the belief that people need human connection, community inclusion, and peer support, as well as access to non-clinical resources, to build recovery capital, improve quality of life, and sustain recovery. This is achieved via education and capacity building, social events, recreational and wellness activities, one on one peer support, community engagement, support groups, linkage, and referral, to support members in developing their own unique individual, social, and community support, to help prevent or reduce impact of relapse and promote long-term recovery from addiction.
