🏒🥅 MEET OUR SPEAKER - Charley Watson 💜💜

Get ready, Rotarians! We’re bringing a little hockey excitement to Southaven! 🏒🔥

Join us this Thursday, October 22, 2026, as the Southaven Rotary Club welcomes Charley Watson, Director of Corporate Partnerships, as our featured guest speaker!

With over 30 years of experience in hockey, including 25 years in professional hockey, Charley brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion for the sport. Having helped launch four minor professional hockey teams, he is now working to help build a successful new hockey franchise right here in the Mid-South!

Charley will share his vision for growing hockey in our region, the importance of strong business partnerships and community support, and how the team plans to give back to the very communities that support it.

🏒 Because building a championship team takes more than great players—it takes a great community!

We look forward to an exciting and engaging presentation about sports, economic opportunities, community partnerships, and bringing people together.

💙💛 Another Great Week at Southaven Rotary!

This past Thursday, we had the pleasure of hearing from our guest speaker, Amber Williams, Co-Founder and CEO of L.I.F.E. House.

Amber shared the inspiring story behind L.I.F.E. House, including what the acronym L.I.F.E. truly represents and the heart and purpose behind their mission. She spoke about the organization’s commitment to supporting women and babies facing unplanned pregnancies by providing free housing, resources, encouragement, and a healthy Christ-centered environment.

Her message was a powerful reminder of what can happen when we recognize a need in our community and answer the call to serve.

Thank you, Amber, for sharing your story, your faith, and the mission of L.I.F.E. House with the Southaven Rotary Club. We appreciate the work you and your team are doing to support women, babies, and families in our community. 💙💛

🌟 Meet Our Speaker – Amber Williams 🌟

The Southaven Rotary Club is excited to welcome Mrs. Amber Williams, co-founder and Director of Life House, as our featured speaker this week!

Amber and her husband, Brock, founded Life House to provide free housing, resources, and support for women facing unplanned pregnancies. Inspired by her own life experiences and a desire to help women facing uncertain futures, Amber stepped away from a career of more than 20 years in the beauty industry to pursue this mission.

With faith, determination, and the support of her husband and community, Amber helped turn a calling to serve into an organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of women and their families.

You don’t want to miss the opportunity to hear Amber’s story and learn more about the mission and impact of Life House. 💙💛

💙💛 We’re Still Reminiscing About This Past Week’s Rotary Meeting!

The Southaven Rotary Club was proud to present a check to the DeSoto Central Middle School Interact Club, continuing our commitment to supporting and encouraging the next generation of leaders.

The check was accepted by Interact Club advisors Chiquita Berry and Tierra Gardner, who are helping guide students as they learn the importance of leadership, service, and giving back to their community.

Supporting Interact means investing in young people who are already learning what it means to put Service Above Self into action. We’re excited to see the impact these students will continue to make throughout their school and community!

Thank you, Chiquita and Tierra, for your leadership and dedication to our future Rotarians. 💙💛

The future of service is bright!
