The Foundation for Excellence in Education was organized by the DeSoto Economic Development Council as a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation under Mississippi law, qualifying for a 501(c)(3) ruling by the IRS.

Exploring creativity in action! 🎨 Lewisburg High School Senior,Amyriah Smith, recently completed a job shadow in interior design, gaining hands-on experience in bringing spaces to life through color, layout, and style. From concept to creation, she got a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to turn ideas into beautiful, functional designs. Thank you to AERC in Hernando, and their designers Hollie Steele, NCIDQ and Kathryn Westervelt, NCIDQ.
We’re so proud of her for taking this step toward her future career! ✨
