I am truly humbled and excited to have been named the 2026 Non-Profit Leader of the Year by the Southaven Chamber of Commerce!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who voted for me and continues to believe in the mission of The Arc Northwest Mississippi. Serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families is so much more than a job to me. It is my passion and an incredible privilege!

I am especially thankful for the FABULOUS staff I get to work alongside every day! These amazing people pour their hearts into our mission, bringing compassion, creativity, energy, and so much love to everything we do. I may be receiving this award, but I couldn't do any of it without them. This honor belongs to our entire team!

And what makes this even sweeter is sharing this special recognition with my dear friend Denise Silas, whose buisness, Empowered by DS, was named Small Business of the Year!

🎅🍪 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Cookies with Santa! 🍪🎅

We have made a few changes to this year’s Cookies with Santa event, and we want to make sure all our families are prepared! ❤️

📅 Sunday, December 13, 2026 | 1 PM–4 PM

🎄 Reservations are REQUIRED, and space is LIMITED! This will NOT be a drop-in event this year. We will only be able to accommodate a limited number of families, so each family must register for a designated time slot in advance. PLEASE ONLY REGISTER FOR ONE TIME SLOT PER FAMILY. Once all time slots are filled, registration will close! Your child must have a disability to attend this event!

ARC ANGEL PROGRAM UPDATE!

The deadline to apply for the Arc NWMS Arc Angel Program is quickly approaching! Applications close November 1, 2026. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, be sure to submit your application before the deadline and review the updated Arc Angel guidelines.

What a GREAT day on the green! Our Mini Masters brought the fun, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles to the course! ⛳✨ We loved seeing everyone come together for a day of connection, laughter, and making memories.
