Ever wonder what life looks like through the eyes of a suffering child? Ever wish you could understand that look in that child's eyes? What is his life like? What does he need? You might think to yourself, "Does he need me?"
The answer is - yes, he does. He needs each member of the Body of Christ to look up and out . . . so they can finally see him. There he stands with his feet embedded in raw sewage and his home nothing but a pile of trash to which he scrambles night and day to find any morsel of food that may get him and his stomach through another painful night. And, there you are. And there EMI stands ready to save him!

Thank you thank you thank you to those of you stepping up to help us bring the Gospel and emergency aid to the affected areas of Cyclone Fani in Asia!!!! The devastation is not near what we were predicting - Praise God!! However, our teams are still rushing in to help save thousands of lives, bringing desperately needed humanitarian supplies, and offer those deeply affected - the Good News of Jesus Christ! Some of these suffering people will hear the Gospel FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!

Doing everything we can to suppot all 4,500 orphans this month! We were only able to support 80% of them last month. We also support nearly 450 widows and dozens of missionary families in their tireless efforts to reach every person in their region with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Did you know - over 650,000,000 women alive today were married as children?
Did you also know - nearly 12,000,000 underage girls are married each year?
According to the 2017 UNICEF report, State of the World’s Children, the countries with the highest rates of child marriage before age 18 (counted among women now 20 to 24) are:
Niger* — 76 percent
Central African Republic* — 68 percent
Chad* — 67 percent
Bangladesh* — 59 percent
Mali* — 52 percent
South Sudan* — 52 percent
Burkina Faso — 52 percent
Guinea — 51 percent
Mozambique* — 48 percent
India* — 47 percent
Of the 25 countries with the highest rates of child marriage, almost all are affected by conflict, fragility, or natural disasters.
EMI is committed in the decades to come to help rescue these girls from being forced into marriages. Our timeless efforts will keep us working with national authorities and groups like UNICEF and others to conduct investigations, establish rescue networks, and fully restore these girls to the safety and normalcy that they had before they were captured and forced into these situations. We want desperately to rescue them before they say “I DO"

Global orphans. Who cares for them? Who reaches out to them? Who feeds and clothes them? Most of them have tiny windows of opportunity to survive - and those windows close quickly for them! We (EMI) want to be that constant open window for them. We will feed them, clothe them, bring clean drinking water to them, plus we will care for them with medicine, medical help, education, and so much more!
