This award has been a very long time coming!! Penne, we are so thankful for you and your dedication to our Veterans. You have been a lifetime member of our Auxiliary for over 30 years, held our Canteen together as manager for 16 years, and a dear friend to so many for even longer.
You have shared your entrusting guidance, wisdom, and tough love with so many of us. You have laughed with us during the good times, cried with us in the dark times, been angry or ecstatic with us with every changing moment throughout all these years.
Penne, your compassion, honesty, and integrity means so much to so many of us. We are all truly thankful for you and what you bring to the table. You are the heart of our post, and we love and appreciate you more than you will ever know!!
You deserve this award and so much more for all you do for our post, veterans, and community.
