2024 Solar Eclipse Bryn Gweled Watch Party

1. Ed Kramer looks to the sky as the eclipse starts.
2-5. Community members grab a seat and look up at the sky together.
6-7. A beautiful spread of eclipse themed snacks were shared. Sun chips were a fun way to fit the theme.
8-9. The eclipse started and left with clouds where we could see it peak out in between.
10. Some family, friends, and members traveled to see the path of totality and this shot is from Burlington, Vermont.

The BG Gathers committee offers our next virtual program on Saturday November 18th! The theme is "BG Celebrations," featuring a slideshow from the live Gathering of August 2022. Come and enjoy meeting and reconnecting. See the registration link below.

The Zoom room will be open at 7:30 pm ET with the program beginning at 8 pm ET. After the slideshow we will have Zoom breakout rooms, and discussion of your thoughts on themes for future gatherings. Then we'll spend from 9 to 10 pm ET in free-flowing conversation.

A few weeks ago, Brian Pauling, Erik's friend and former bandmate (Endangered Speeches) and roommate stopped into Sean Whitaker's BG Music Coffee House night with part of his band the Kotoko Brass. This is where they are this week.

Bryn Gweled is all about community and it’s nice to learn and experience the different cultures and traditions of our members. Today we hosted a Passover Seder at the community center where we gathered, sampled some food and learned about what each item represented and read and sang from the Haggadah. If you’d like to share your family’s culture and traditions, send us a message!

Workers of all ages came out to Work Party today. Thanks to everyone who contributed-from the outside helpers working on the community center maintenance to the little helpers who made stone soup for tonite’s covered dish supper! 🔨 🪜 🍅 🥣

Pool mural unveiling after two year restoration project. BG will forever be indebted to the crew who spent untold hundreds and hundreds of hours painstakingly disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling every piece. It is now officially part of our landscape that can be enjoyed year-round when walking on Meadow Rd.
