Bridge work!!!!

ROADWORK AND ROAD CLOSURES

Route 28 CANNOT be traveled between all the way through and is CLOSED to THROUGH TRAFFIC.

At this time, Route 28 is impassible at the Parkers River Bridge through Seaview Avenue. The Route 28 construction zone begins at Winslow Gray Rd and extends to the intersection at Forest Road.

Cape and Islands KIA is Open and accessible ONLY by coming West from Dennis.

Business access will be available during this period; however, motorists will have to arrive and exit the same way.

Please plan your trip accordingly and add additional time for travel.

Road Detours!!

NOVEMBER 18TH - ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE!

Beginning Monday, November 18th at 7 a.m., Route 28 between Long Pond Drive and Forest Road will be CLOSED 24 hours a day to through traffic. This closure will remain in effect until Friday, November 22nd. Please seek alternate routes and plan accordingly. There will be construction equipment blocking the roadway and vehicles will NOT be able to get through.

We understand this may be an inconvenience; however, this work is necessary. For the safety of our motoring public, this road MUST be CLOSED COMPLETELY.

The Yarmouth Firefighters are proud to announce the return of our annual Homeless for the Holidays event! From December 4th to December 8th, we will be stationed at the Our Lady of the Highway Church parking lot, collecting new unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items, new children’s clothing, and monetary donations to support local charities.

This cherished tradition is an opportunity to come together as a community and make a meaningful difference for those in need during the holiday season. Stop by to donate, connect with us, and support this important cause.
