2026 PREMIUM BOOK ART CONTEST
165th WOODSTOCK FAIR
WE INVITE ALL NON-PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS TO ENTER
DESIGN THE FRONT COVER OF THE 165TH PREMIUM BOOK COVER GUIDELINES:

Size: The poster must be 8.5" x 11" (standard letter size);

Theme: 165th Woodstock Fair (be creative);

Originality: The artwork must be original and created by the entrant;

Contact Information: The entrant’s name, address, phone number, and email information should be attached to the back of the poster;
Medium: Any medium can be used (paint, crayons, markers, etc.);

Clarity: Ensure the poster is clear, with sufficient detail for duplication and display;

No Copyrighted Material: Avoid using copyrighted characters or material;

No Computer-Generated or Altered Art: Computer-generated or altered art is not allowed;

No Glitz or Glue-on Items: Avoid using glitter or glued-on items;

Flat, Not Folded, Not Framed, and Not Laminated: The poster should be submitted flat, not folded, not matted, not framed, and not laminated;

Spelling and Grammar: Ensure correct spelling and grammar, and that all text is legible;

Crafters invited to Works in Progress Days

The Handwork and Arts and Crafts Departments of the Woodstock Fair invite area crafters to “Work on Your WIPS (Works in Progress) Days” in the fellowship hall at the South Woodstock Baptist Church.
These casual, social crafting days are open to anyone age 14 and up and will be held on February 21st, March 21st, and April 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Participants must bring their own projects and supplies, whether sewing, knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, or other portable crafts. No instruction will be provided. Bag lunches and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed, but please ensure all liquids are in a tightly sealed container.
This is an opportunity to meet new friends, be inspired by the creativity of others, and to finish projects to enter in the 2026 Woodstock Fair.
For those who have never entered a creation into the Fair, the Handwork and Arts and Crafts superintendents of the Woodstock Fair will be on hand to answer any questions about the entry process.

The 2026 Woodstock Fair, always Labor Day Weekend, will be held September 3-7 at the Woodstock Fairgrounds. For more information, as it becomes available, go to

Connecticut's largest agricultural fair, and also one of the oldest, the Woodstock Fair is a four day fair held in South Woodstock, CT. "Always Labor Day Weekend" is our motto and our fair opens at noon the Friday before Labor Day and runs through Labor Day Monday closing at 8pm.
