Programs sponsored by the South Windsor Historical Society:
1) South Windsor Historical Society Lawn Chair Chat - another opportunity to learn about our town and meet our neighbors!
Saturday, June 20, 2026
10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
1105 Strong Road, South Windsor
Lawn of Bruce Snow and Post Road Stages
Post Road States was founded in 1912 and brought pupils to South Windsor's schoolhouses long before this much honored family business became the familiar fleet of comfortable coaches we recognize today. Along the way, the Collins and Snow families were entwined with the town's history in many ways. Join Bruce and others as they share stories of the family and the business.
Free - Bring a lawn chair - Refreshments
Lawn Chair Chats are one part of the programs for the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and its theme of telling local stories, from the past to the present.
2) New! Hot off the press!
Declaration Day!

Mark your calendars and watch for more information!
