Youth Fire Week at .hq was a blessing to the youth leaders, youth pastor, and youth! Thank you so much to everyone at RMI who made it happen! This was a landmark week, this week is a week everyone is going to look back on and say, “This was when my life was changed forever”

Youth, keep the fire going and remember that:
“The only way to keep the fire going is by spreading it”

So many times we look for a big sign from God. We go about our busy lives wondering why we never hear Him. But, a lot of the time, God speaks to us in a still small voice. He truly values alone time with us. He values the moments where we shut everything off and seek Him. Take some time this week to get alone with God and see what He has to say.

“Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.”

As a youth group, we feel called to share Jesus with everyone. We make it a goal to go out and witness weekly!

We know... scary. Talking to strangers about Jesus isn't easy. But, we hold tight to this scripture, "The Spirit of God emboldens us to proclaim the gospel without fear. (1 Thessalonians 2:2)"

As we enter this school vacation week, we pray for more encounters with people who need Jesus. The Spirit of God makes us bold because He loves people and wants to see their lives changed forever.

Every day we have to make a choice about what we think and focus on. Your mind has to be set on something! So what is yours focused on? Things of the spirit are what last. Not things of the world. When you set your mind to focus on the things of God, you live a powerful life in line with God and all his plans for you!!

As we approach our last week of the fast, really pay attention to what you are focusing on. Are you living in the flesh or the natural?
