We're meant for something greater than all of this. Let the compassion in your heart and discontent with this average life remind you: the talents we possess and struggle we have seen, they are meant to help others. Maloney Memorial Foundation
Born on September 14, 1991, Garrett Coby Maloney was a very special and loving child from birth. He never m
et a stranger and all he met soon became his family. He grew into such a beautiful young man; he did many random, selfless acts of kindness without ever wanting anyone to know. For example, he woke up one morning and he and a friend decided to spend the day cleaning a stretch of road, just because. There was also the time he took a homeless lady a pizza, just because he wanted her to have something to eat. This is how Garrett spent his life. He wanted to “Spread Love”© to all; he believed this was our purpose on this earth. Tragically, at the age of 19, Garrett was murdered and taken from this world and from all who love him so dearly. We have come to understand that drug addiction problems do not discriminate! This was a drug related homicide. As members of his family, we have grieved beyond belief and wanted to come up with a way to honor Garrett and his belief of life and spreading love. We then thought of a foundation, to offer funding for those seeking drug rehab, to teach drug prevention and provide resources for those who have been through rehab. This foundation will strive to make our community and state as drug free as possible. In honor of Garrett, we have named it The Garrett C. Maloney Memorial Foundation. In order for us to be able to honor Garrett and “Spread Love”© as he would want, we need your help. We need any donations that you are able to give. PLEASE HELP US SAVE OUR FAMILY AND YOURS FROM FALLING VICTIM TO DRUGS AND THE EFFECT THEY HAVE ON ALL OF US.
