Annual AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparents Spring Break Literacy Day📚
We had some amazing volunteers from Center for Service & Volunteerism at NAU today reading to our kids😍 After, the kids enjoyed a fun and very creative arts and crafts activity!

A beautiful day for a Spring Break field trip to Las Artes! 💜💙🩷💚
Thank you to all the staff and teachers who took the time to share about their program and how all the tile art is made! It was fun to learn about the process!
We also learned about the history of Las Artes and the connection to the JVYC and our community in the city of South Tucson!
The kids were so impressed to walk into the Art Studio and we even got to take a tile home!😍 Also, Chuck got to show the kids the mobile library he made himself! What a great time we had!

We were honored to have Bishop Emeritus Kicanas visiting the JVYC, last Friday. Bishop brought such joy to all of us at the JVYC. the kids really enjoyed his company while they were doing arts and crafts, STEM activities and one of their favorite shaving cream drawing.

We are so grateful for his time and blessings.

Santa paid an extra special visit to the John Valenzuela Youth Center on Wednesday, December 17. The participants were treated to a pizza party, painting activity and presents from Santa! Thank you to all the donors and volunteers who made the day spectacular!
