Join us for a walking tour of Grandview Cemetery in Chillicothe. Learn about the people who lived in early Chillicothe, with a special focus on dark history.

We will meet at the gazebo on the northeastern side of the cemetery. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.

Swap out your plant treasures for those that your neighbors bring in: perennials, herbs, bulbs and tubers, house plants, you never know what plants you'll find at the our annual plant swap!

Everyone is welcome, even if you don't bring anything. Please label your donations. You can also bring unwanted planters and pots (please limit nursery pots to five) to find a new home.

A member of the Wild Ones South Central Ohio Chapter will be there for questions about gardening.

In collaboration with Ohio Goes to the Movies and America 250 Ohio, we're celebrating this beloved classic directed by filmmaker (and Cincinnati born!) Steven Spielberg.

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Celebration Schedule:

📞🏠 5 pm Pre-show Activities: Community Reflection Wall, nostalgia, trivia, and Photo booth.

🚲 6 pm Interactive Screening of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: Movie bingo with library prizes and audience participation moments throughout at Ohio University Chillicothe Bennett Hall.

🌕 8 pm Post-screening Activities & Discussion: Learn about astronomy and practice Morse Code. Participate in discussion about the many themes and cultural impact of this timeless film.

HAPPY DOLLY PARTON DAY! 🦋

At the Main Library, we gave the opportunity for patrons to share what Dolly means to them. We’ve loved reading the messages and seeing just how many lives she has touched!

And there’s a perfect way to celebrate Dolly Day tonight! United Way of Ross County is hosting A Dolly Party at The Page from 6 PM–midnight, with games, trivia, and opportunities to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and its mission to provide free books to young children in our community.
