We're pleased to present our final update communication on the ongoing Plan & Zoning Code Update process. Thank you to everyone involved for your time and engagement in this meaningful process that spanned 2021 - 2025.
**Exciting news**
Congratulations to the Lewisboro community – in May 2025 the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation (WMPF) will be presenting the Town of Lewisboro with the Planning Achievement Award for the outstanding work and community engagement that went into updating the Comprehensive Plan. Thank you all and congrats on this honor!
The WMPF will also be presenting Katie McGinn (Chair, Lewisboro Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee) and Jan Andersen (Chair, Lewisboro Planning Board) with Distinguished Citizen Planner Awards. Congrats to Katie and Jan and thank you for all the hard work.
**Refresher - Comprehensive Plan Status**
The updated Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the Town Board on August 12, 2024. The final version is available here on the Town website.
**Update - Zoning Code Amendments**
On April 28, 2025, Lewisboro approved a group of Zoning Code amendments that were developed alongside the updated Comprehensive Plan and included in the final stages of the public outreach & engagement process. These will be available on the Town website shortly.
Next Steps: Public Hearings for Additional Draft Zoning Code amendments ongoing in 2025 (please see the Town website for more details/future updates)
