This week, 150 members of our community came together for Federation’s PJ Library Noah’s Ark Fest—a day overflowing with laughter, creativity, and Jewish joy. From the excitement of the petting zoo to colorful sand art and whimsical face painting, every moment reflected the beauty of connection and togetherness.
We were thrilled to welcome local PJ Library author Rachelle Burk , who delighted families with a special reading of her book Matzah Ball Chase. With perfect mid-October weather, families enjoyed hayrides, balloon animals, temporary tattoos, and delicious free kosher food—all while exploring and learning together through the magic of PJ Library books.
Events like these remind us of the power of community: to celebrate, to connect, and to create lasting memories rooted in shared values.
A heartfelt thank-you to our inspiring lead funders, Adrienne and Andrew Ross, and to the Behr-Manischewitz Endowment, Gail Shapiro-Scott Endowment for Family Engagement, Jadzia Sobkowska Fund, Tanzman Foundation, and Wainer Fund for PJ Library. Your generosity and commitment to our community made this joyful day possible—we’re so grateful for your support!
